Virgin Australia Crew Hanger Party
Our Brief
Virgin Australia, known for their epic crew hangar parties, called on Cuisine on Cue to cater their Brisbane hangar event. With over 1500 crew members in attendance, the party celebrated Virgin Australia’s “Bring on Wonderful” campaign, team spirit and resilience. Cuisine on Cue’s task was to handle the food and beverage preparation and service, incorporating products from beverage sponsors and Betty’s Burgers, alongside other menu items.

Our Approach
Pulling off an event of this scale, especially in an airside location, was no easy feat. Cuisine on Cue set up a massive production kitchen in a marquee next to the hangar, complete with two large cold rooms and a whopping 22 trestle tables for food prep.
To keep the crowd satisfied, the team designed a substantial cocktail menu to handle the demand. They worked closely with the Betty’s Burgers team beforehand to ensure the replication of the Betty’s beef burger was on point.
