International Women’s Day Fun Run – VIP Village
Our Brief
As the designated event catering partner for The Mater, Cuisine on Cue was tasked with providing breakfast catering for the VIP marquee at the International Women’s Day Fun Run. The event aimed to replenish the energy of participants who completed the picturesque 5km city loop course, while also contributing to the vital cause of raising funds for women with breast cancer. With a fundraising target of over $1.57 million for breast cancer research, the Fun Run served as Australia’s largest International Women’s Day celebration.
Our Approach
Situated in the finisher’s village at the City Botanic Gardens, Cuisine on Cue delivered catering services to the VIP marquee. To ensure cost-effectiveness and minimise staffing requirements, our approach focused on offering fresh and tasty food stations where finishers could self-serve.
