The Reception
Guests moved up to Room Three Sixty, one of Brisbane’s most sought after wedding venues, for pre-reception canapés and drinks.
As the epitome of sophistication and elegance, Room Three Sixty was the perfect place for Hannah and Lachlan’s inner city wedding reception. As its namesake suggests, the venue provides 360 degree views of the city skyline and Brisbane river through floor to ceiling glass windows.
The room was styled with white linen draping from the ceiling and a hanging garden situated above the dining area. The tables were styled with white linen tablecloths, topped with green table centerpieces, white flowers and charming tea light candles.
Cuisine on Cue supplied delicious, pre-reception canapés including vegan catering options like house made tofu and chickpea falafels with scented cumin and crème fraîche. Guests also grazed on plates of Lebanese inspired chicken samosas with red peppers and walnut dip.
Serving Perfection…
Entrees were served following the entrance of the Bridal party. This included an alternate drop of baked Hervey Bay half shell scallops with lemon roasted panko and sauce vierge, or twice cooked pork belly with shaved fennel, nashi pear with lemongrass soy reduction.
Mains included roasted corn fed chicken on grilled zucchini wedges with mojo verde, pepper strips, kipfler potatoes and jus gras. The alternative main meal was a 180g eye fillet cooked medium with celeriac and parmesan gratin, roasted carrot and charred truffle jus.
After the bouquet toss and bridal waltz, the wedding cake was plated and served to guests with tea and coffee. A premium, free-flowing beverage package was on offer throughout the course of the evening with a selection of beers, wines and spirits for the bridal party.
