Cuisine on Cue knew they’d be taking on some big events when they became the exclusive catering partner of the historic Tivoli Theatre. The inaugural event did not dissapoint, featuring the NRL’s newest heavy hitters – the Redcliffe Dolphins. As they prepare to enter the ranks of Australia’s top rugby league competition with impeccable style.
The Stars are out!
The world-famous Tivoli is not a stranger to big names, although titans of the sporting world were quite a mix-up from the musical revelations the theatre usually hosts. The cameras were rolling as the catering team helped the Tivoli roll out the red carpet for the all-star lineup, that included players, club CEO Terry Reader and legendary coach Wayne Bennett.
Food fit for champions
Truth be told Cuisine on Cue doesn’t usually have to compete so hard to be the highlight at an event. Among the fanfare and indomitable hype for the upcoming season, a team of Brisbane’s best chefs were leaving it all on the field. Guests tackled a barrage of dishes. Featuring whipped fetta tarts, spiced pork belly, truffle mushroom arancini, buttermilk chicken and sticky pork bao. When the vening was finished, the menu had scored more than a few points, with happy guests.
The end of the beginning…
With less than a week until the Dolphins kick off in their first game against the Cowboys on Sunday, we’re proud to have seen the team off in such style. The event was a massive success and puts the team in high spirits for their first match. Thanks to the efforts of the amazing chefs, staff and coordinators who were at the Tivoli that night. Whether you’re taking to the football field or throwing spectacular events, you don’t have a good game, you make it a good game.
