Caitlin & Daniel’s Wedding

Desiring a traditional wedding with a luxe twist, Caitlin and Daniel celebrated their nuptials at Brisbane’s striking Old Museum, celebrating with family and friends against the romantic backdrop provided by the heritage building.

Florist: Joyful Blooms Co

Lighting: Out of The Dark Event Lighting

Bar: Gathering Events

Cake: Kandy’s Kakes

The Styling: Old Museum

To complement the strong features of the Old Museum and its grounds, Styled Events and Beautiful Weddings focused on the softer touches. Reinforcing the romantic styling, roses were the focus of floral arrangements by Joyful Blooms Co, in varying shades of white, cream and pink.

Caitlin wore a soft peach/pink dress with white embroidery by The GC Bridal Lounge, while bridesmaids were in a deeper shade of mauve, echoing the soft, warm aspects of the event styling. The groomsmen and groom wore classic slate three-piece suits by Wil Valor.

The Reception: Old Museum

The reception, held in one of the Old Museum’s studios, was styled to match the unique heritage surrounds of the Old Museum’s studio space, with fresh white tablecloths and dark seating contrasted with contemporary exposed-bulb light structures by Out of the Dark Event Lighting.

Decadent meals were provided by Cuisine on Cue, followed by the wedding cake created by Kandy’s Kakes, cheese platters, and a creme brulee tower.
