How do I organise catering for an event?
Cuisine on Cue simplifies event catering. With decades of experience arranging events from intimate gatherings to major events we share our knowledge and experience with you to ensure your event is seamless and stress free.
Following your initial enquiry you will be assigned a dedicated event coordinator that will be your point of contact to discuss all requirements and work closely with you to guide you through the event planning process. From menu selection, run schedule planning, equipment logistics to on the day coordination Cuisine on Cue are here to help you see your event come to life. As full service caterers we can help with as much or as little of the event coordination as you need.

At Cuisine on Cue we pride ourselves on our versatility and ability to cater all types of events. From home or office delivery catering for lunch to private or corporate cocktail, seated and special occasion we do it all. As expert wedding and event caterers, we thrive on delighting guests with our refined cuisine at private parties. There is no limit to what we can imagine together.

What should I look for when choosing an event caterer?

As well as experience, the more you can find in one place the better. It can be difficult to coordinate lots of moving parts in lots of different places. Full-service catering, like Cuisine on Cue’s, allows you to have everything organised in one place, which makes miscommunications or hiccups a lot less likely.
How much does event catering cost?
As each event is different and each client requirements are unique there is no “set price” for how much a catered event may cost.
There are a lot of factors that can impact the cost. Including style of event, size of event, duration, and optional add-ons.
Cuisine on Cue endeavours to work with you and your budget to ensure that you can have the event you desire on the price that is right for you.
How do you cater an event on a budget?
We have lots of options to suit budgets. Delivered catering is a fantastic option for small events or corporate functions. For bigger affairs, there’s no substitute for quality. Food, beverages, staff and equipment are all the components that make a great event, and you don’t want to be left wanting! The best part about working with Cuisine on Cue is that we work with clients to curate every aspect of their event. Meaning we can create the perfect package where you only pay for what will really make YOUR event special!
What services do you offer?
Cuisine on Cue is a full-service Brisbane catering company and we are more than happy to help plan any aspect of your occasion. From theming, entertainment, styling and detailed event coordination. We can also provide all catering equipment such as tables, chairs, linen and professional staffing; all ready to assist you, so that you can enjoy your special occasion without worrying about setting up, serving and cleaning.
When should I call Cuisine on Cue to organise catering?
As soon as you have decided on a rough date of your event or party. The more lead time you are able to provide us the better to ensure time for every detail to be planned. However, if you are in urgent need of catering for an unexpected event, please contact us.
Where can you cater? What if there is no electricity?
We can cater in any Brisbane and surrounds venue – indoors, outdoors, small and large. We have extensive experience in catering in remote and logistically challenging spaces and have a wide range of catering equipment such as gas ovens which allows us to also cater in venues without electricity.
Can I create my own menu or do I have to choose from the ones provided?
Yes, you can create your own menu. We can work closely with you to design a custom menu that suits your budget and event needs. We enjoy working with our clients to design menus; however, we also offer a broad selection of menu items to choose from.
My kitchen is small and not well equipped. Is this a problem?
For private functions we always strive to use as much of your equipment as possible to save hire costs. However, if we find that your kitchen equipment isn’t suitable for our needs, we can provide our own catering equipment.
How do your costings work? Do I need a budget?
Cuisine on Cue menus are based at a per head cost. However, it is a good idea to have a budget to have a general idea of how much you want to spend per person on your event. We can work within a wide range of budgets, tailoring menus and costs to your event catering requirements.
Can I provide my own alcohol or do I have to use Cuisine on Cue for bar service?
Yes, you are able to provide your own alcohol if you wish. However, Cuisine on Cue hold a full alcohol catering license. We have an extensive beverages menu both packaged and also listed to be charged on consumption. We can also provide a full bar setup with a professional bartender to service your guests.
Do you cater for dietary requirements such as vegetarian and gluten free?
Yes, we have a vast array of selections on all our menus which are suited for any dietary requirement. We also cater to religious dietary requirements such as Halal and Kosher.
Can we purchase food to be delivered or do we need it fully catered?
If full event catering is not what you are after Cuisine on Cue offers delivery catering in Brisbane. All items on the menu can be delivered straight to your home or office door. We can also deliver many of our cold and hot canapé selections, with heating instructions provided.
When do I finalise numbers?
Two days prior your function date, we will need to have your final number of guests to be catered for.
Are prices quoted exclusive of GST?
Yes, all prices are exclusive of GST.
When is payment required and what payment methods do you accept?
Upon acceptance of your event catering quotation a deposit is required and full payment is required in advance of your event.

Where are you located?
Our production kitchen and corporate office is located in Milton, Brisbane. We cater at events and venues across Brisbane, the Scenic Rim and the Gold Coast and provide delivered catering throughout Brisbane.
What is your cancellation policy?
Generally, Cuisine on Cue allows for events to be rescheduled to a later date at no extra charge, if the rescheduling takes place at least 1 week before the original event date. For outright cancellations please note paid deposits are normally non-refundable.
