1 in 5 women and up to 1 in 10 men are affected by perinatal mental health diagnoses within the first year of their baby’s arrival. It is hard to overstate the impact Catherine’s House will have on parents and babies, in offering care that, historically has been severely under-delivered in Queensland. Through more than 17 million dollars in generous community donations, the Mater Foundation has opened the state’s first integrated perinatal mental health service facility.
