Q1. I am in charge of arranging a function. Where do I start?

Our staff are fully trained in all areas of event coordination and will be able to assist you in this hectic process. Q2. What do your services include?
Cuisine On Cue is a full service Brisbane catering company and we are more than happy to help plan any aspect of your occasion, from theming, entertainment to detailed event coordination. We can also provide all catering equipment such as tables, chairs, linen and professional staffing; all ready to assist you, so that you can enjoy your special occasion without worrying about setting up, serving and cleaning.
Q3. When should I call Cuisine On Cue to organise catering?
As soon as you have decided on a rough date of your event or party. The more leadtime you are able to provide us the better. However, if you are in urgent need of catering for an unexpected event please contact us.
Q4. Where are you able to cater? What if there is no electricity?
We can cater in any Brisbane venue indoors, outdoors, small and large. We have an extensive range of catering equipment such as gas ovens which allows us to also cater in venues without electricity.
Q5. Can I create my own menu or do I have to choose from the ones provided?
Yes, you can create your own menu. We can work closely with you to design a custom menu that suits your budget and events needs. We enjoy working with our clients to design menus, however we also offer a broad selection of menu items to choose from.
Q6. My kitchen is small and not well equipped. Is this a problem?
For private functions we always strive to use as much of your equipment as possible to save hire costs. However, if we find that your kitchen equipment isn’t suitable for our needs we can provide our own catering equipment.
Q7. How do your costings work? Do I need a budget?
Cuisine On Cue menus are based at a per head costings. However, it is a good idea to have a budget to have a general idea of how much you want to spend per person on your event. We at Cuisine On Cue can work within a wide range of budgets, tailoring menus and costs to your function requirements.
Q8. Can I provide my own alcohol or do I have to use Cuisine On Cue for bar service?
Yes, you are able to provide your own alcohol if you wish. However, Cuisine On Cue hold a full alcohol catering license. We have an extensive beverages menu both packaged and also listed to be charged on consumption. We can also provide a full bar setup with a professional bartender to service your guests.
Q9. Do you cater for dietary requirements such as vegetarian and gluten free?
Yes, we have a vast array of selections on all our menus which are suited for any dietary requirement. We also cater to religious dietary requirements such as Halal and Kosher.
Q10. Can we purchase food to be delivered or do we need it fully catered?
Cuisine On Cue offers a Brisbane corporate catering delivery service which all items on the menu can be delivered straight to your office door. We can also deliver many of our cold and hot canapé (with heating instructions) selections.
Q11. When do I finalise numbers?
Two days prior your function date, we will need to have your final number of guests to be catered for.
Q12. Are prices exclusive of GST?
Yes, all prices are exclusive GST.
