Host an event to remember at Brisbane’s oldest residential farmhouse.
History of Wolston Farmhouse
Established by Dr Stephen Simpson in 1852, Wolston Farmhouse is nestled into the tranquil banks of Brisbane River, Wacol. The stunning 640 acre horse and cattle station was passed through four families over the next century before being acquired by The National Trust of Australia (QLD) in 1963. The historic farmhouse has been faithfully restored with added furnishings and artefacts reflecting the properties history. The heritage building is open to the public for self-led tours, dining experiences at the cafe, school education days and private functions.
