History of Shafston House
Shafston House was built in 1851 and stands today as one of Brisbane’s most magnificent heritage listed sites with incredible views of the Brisbane River. Throughout the estate’s rich history, it has had many uses including a teacher training centre in the early 1900s and as accommodation for servicemen in World War I. Now Shafston House is used primarily as a unique event venue.
