We’re thrilled to be catering for Dinner en Blanc 2016. This is Brisbane’s fifth year of hosting this event and as always, the location will stay secret only to be revealed on the night.

Food, fashion and culture enthusiasts who are keen to nab the sought-after tickets to Brisbane’s fifth edition of the all white Dîner en Blanc should register on the waiting list.

Following the success of last year’s event, which saw more than 2,000 diners dressed head to toe in white take over Queens Park, 3,000 tickets will be released this year. A summary of last year’s event can be found below.

Gourmet Hampers
We have prepared four delicious hampers for Dinner en Blanc 2016. There is a simple hamper, deluxe, vegetarian and gluten free.

Hamper (Simple)
2 x miniature baguette with whipped smoked salt butter
Selection of sliced meats (salami, roast beef) and grilled vegetables (zucchini, roast capsicum, sweet potato)
Cheddar with lavosh and quince paste
Heirloom tomato, spring onion and goats cheese baked tartlet

Hamper (Deluxe)
2 x miniature baguette with whipped smoked salt butter
Selection of sliced meats (salami, roast beef) and grilled vegetables (zucchini, roast capsicum, sweet potato)
Cheddar and brie with lavosh and quince paste
Heirloom tomato, spring onion and goats cheese baked tartlet
Poached free range chicken, rocket, walnut and fetta salad with cider dressing
Baked cheesecake – vanilla flavoured cheesecake on a chocolate biscuit base topped with fresh strawberries

Hamper (Vegetarian)
2 x miniature baguette with whipped smoked salt butter
Selection grilled vegetables (zucchini, eggplant, roast capsicum, sweet potato, pumpkin)
Cheddar and brie with lavosh and quince paste
Heirloom tomato, spring onion and goats cheese baked tartlet
Honey sesame roasted baby carrots, rocket, walnut and fetta salad with cider dressing
Baked cheesecake – vanilla flavoured cheesecake on a chocolate biscuit base topped with fresh strawberries

Hamper (Seafood)
2 x miniature baguette with whipped smoked salt butter
Peeled Mooloolaba king prawns, fresh poached and smoked salmon spread, marinated baby octopus
Cheddar and brie with lavosh and quince paste
Serrano jamon, heirloom tomato, spring onion and goats cheese baked tartlet
Free range chicken liver pate with citrus crust and Turkish croutes
Duck breast prosciutto, rocket, walnut and fetta salad with cider dressing
Baked cheesecake – vanilla flavoured cheesecake on a chocolate biscuit base topped with fresh strawberries

Hamper (Gluten free)
2 x GF rolls with whipped smoked salt butter
Selection of sliced meats (salami, roast beef) and grilled vegetables (zucchini, roast capsicum, sweet potato)
Cheddar and brie with lavosh (GF) and quince paste
Heirloom tomato, spring onion and goats cheese baked tartlet(GF)
Poached free range chicken, rocket, walnut and fetta salad with cider dressing
Baked cheesecake – vanilla flavoured cheesecake topped with fresh strawberries and chocolate shavings

Cuisine on Cue was proud to be provided with the opportunity to cater for Diner en Blanc 2015, one of Brisbane city’s largest and most widely celebrated dining events.

Thousands of Brisbane foodies joined in white for a memorable evening focused on bringing the city together to revel in the joys of eating, drinking and dancing. While the location was a mystery, there was no guesswork in the quality and luxury of the night, with a selection of hampers catered by Cuisine on Cue.

Guests could choose to bring their own food, or purchase a pre-made hamper, containing decadent fare, fit for celebrating life’s fineries at such an iconic worldwide event.

Catering Case study: Hampers

Those who chose to be treated to a pre-prepared hamper, courtesy of Cuisine on Cue, indulged in miniature baguettes with salted confit garlic butter, a selection of sliced meats and grilled vegetables, as well cheddar and brie with lavosh and quince paste.

The feasting continued with a selection of tasty morsels like our pumpkin, caramelized onion and prosciutto baked tartlet, duck leg terrine with apple and raisin relish, as well as roasted baby vegetables with goats cheese and rocket. To finish, guests were treated to our chocolate and macadamia brownie, served with maple syrup, a welcome twist on a dessert favourite.
